When a male nursing home patient became combative and hit 52-year-old Patricia Futrell, she responded by squeezing him in the genitals and said, "I can be mean too."
This article out of Durant, Okla. said that after an investigation by the Oklahoma Attorney Generals Office Patient Abuse and Medicaid Fraud Unit, the former nurses aide at the Four Seasons Nursing Home in Durant, Okla. has since been charged with abuse by a caretaker - a felony.
When questioned about the incident, Futrell said she was trying to clean the patient when he pinched and slapped her. She also said that he grabbed her breast and private parts, and would not let go. She also said she felt bad and apologized to the patient. Her employment was terminated after the incident.
